Cross country 7:00-8:30 a.m
Volleyball 8:00-10:00 a.m
Cheer 10:00-11:00 a.m
Football 4:00-6:00 p.m
All practice are at West Nodaway
JH practices begins August 17th

Due to COVID-19 concerns the following have been cancelled: Football Jamboree on August 21, Rocket Tailgate on August 25, and Musket Tailgate on Aug 27th. HS Fall sports practices will begin Monday, August 10th.

The WN Board of Education will have it’s regularly scheduled Board meeting Wednesday, August 12th in the school Media Center. Tax hearing@ 6:00p.m. Regular session @ 6:10p.m. followed by executive session. Agenda is posted under Menu/Docs on WN website.

MO STATE FAIR FFA EXHIBITS...members wanting to exhibit fruits, vegetables, ag mechanics, field crops, etc need to get items to Mrs. Honan by Tuesday (8-11)!! The list of items was sent to you by mail! Prize money can be used for dues, shirts, official dress, etc...

This is our last Summer Library week! Tues 5-7pm, Thurs 10-Noon! Also, AR site will shut down on July 30th for maintenance, so no AR testing from that date until school begins! Thank you!

Now through October 31st, Pizza Ranch in Maryville will contribute $2 for every regular-priced large pizza that is ordered and sold for delivery or pickup. The total amount will be divided equally among the six county school systems.
▪️Example: Pizza Ranch had about 600 large pizzas ordered in June. This would be $1,200. Each school would have received $200.
In addition to the large pizza, they will also include $1 for every frozen pizza ordered and sold. The “Take & Bake” pizza is new and has developed because of the pandemic. The “Take & Bake” is awesome for fundraising, or just for ordering and baking later.

Blood Drive TODAY at the Burlington Junction American Legion Building from 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm. Your donation would be greatly appreciated!

Graduation will be held on Sunday, July 12th at 3:00 PM in the high school gym. Graduates must arrive by 2:00 PM.
Seating for family: The front rows will be reserved for senior class family members. All students will be allowed six seats in these front rows. These seats will be marked with the senior’s name. There will be a receiving line held right after graduation on the south side of the building. Please allow everyone to go through the receiving line before taking seniors home.

Graduation practice will be held on Saturday, July 11th @ 9:00 AM in the HS gym. Bring your cap, gown, dress shoes, dress shirt, and tie or dress. You will wear this during the entire practice time. Boys: Must wear dress pants, dress shoes, and a shirt with a collar. Girls: Preferably dresses, but dress pants are acceptable. (No jeans, shorts, sunglasses, hats, or flip flops will be allowed.) WC Farmer Photography will be at practice to take pictures. Pricing information will be communicated by Ms. Talmadge.

Class of 2020: Baccalaureate will be held on July 8th at 7:00 PM at the Methodist Church in Elmo. Graduates must arrive 15 minutes early. Dress Code: Church Attire. Cake and punch to follow. This is very important to attend!
