On Wed, Dec 9th before our regularly scheduled Board meeting we will have a community forum @ 6:00 p.m. in the media center to hear any comments about a sports co-op with another district. We have completed both community and student surveys in this regard. Masks are required.

The high school boys basketball game scheduled against Clarinda Academy on Dec. 7th has been postponed to to February 8th.

Good afternoon PK - 5 Rocket families,
When students return to school tomorrow, we would like for all students in grades 2nd-5th to return their Chromebooks and chargers. They will not need to transport them to and from school at this time. We are excited to announce that our staff seem to be on the mend and we are happy to have everyone back. Having said that, if we should run into a rise in illnesses again we may have to reassess and push the Chromebooks back out. Thank you all for your patience at this very trying and uncertain time. Our main goal is to keep the building open and have class on campus but we just don't know what situation will present itself to us this year.
If your child is in quarantine they will continue distance learning as usual and return their Chromebooks when they return to school. If you should have any questions please call the school office. Have a great evening!

Monday Dec. 7th at home vs Mound City; 5:30 PM
Thursday Dec. 10th at Dekalb; 5:30 PM
The West Nodaway high school boys and girls basketball teams will not be participating in the PVI tournament this year.
Fifth grade planned their own Thanksgiving Parade!

The junior high and high school basketball games with King City have been rescheduled. Junior high will play Tuesday, Dec. 1st at home, starting at 5:30 with JH girls. High school basketball will play at King City on Monday, Dec. 14th starting at 5:00 with JV boys, followed by varsity boys and girls.
