End of school updates: The last day of school for West Nodaway R-I will be May 20th, 2020. Student check out days will be May 19th and 20th. We will publish a schedule for drop off books, computers, etc. Students will also have access to lost and found items at that time.
Here's a little activity for anyone interested! Take a piece of paper. Write "I can't imagine life without..." in the center and draw a bubble around it. Make rays coming out from the center and fill each section. We'd love to see what you include! Post on Facebook or email Mrs. Bell!
If you or anyone in your family is having a hard time during this crisis, The National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children has some amazing resources for talking about it. Here is a great one called The Animals Inside Me: Meerkat, Tiger, and Owl. Even adults can benefit from thinking about this analogy. Sometimes, the meerkat within us sounds the alarm when we're not in any urgent danger and we need to work to calm ourselves. We miss all our students and our school family!

WN Class of 2020 Graduation Ceremony has been postponed until Sun. July 12, 2020 at 3:00pm. The format will be dictated by health department/government guidelines at that time.

The Governor of Missouri has ordered that all Missouri public and charter schools remain closed through the remainder of the academic year with exception of nutrition services. Enjoy your Easter break and we will provide more information soon.
Correction: April 10th & 13th would have been our "Spring Break." We want to make sure that everyone is able to spend time with their families during this time. We will be lessening our Virtual Learning expectations during those days. Thank you for all your continued support!
