On September 11 everyone gathered around the flagpole for our Patriot Day presentation. The flag was lowered to half-staff while STUCO members and community leader Justin Plymell shared messages of patriotism.

Kindergarten has been working on the alphabet. Today we made alphabet soup.



Today we gathered around the flag pole to remember the tragic events from 9/11. The MS/HS students did a great job planning this assembly. We were honored to have 5 members from the National Guard with us, 4 of them being West Nodaway alumni.

Ag Power & Tech students are making windmills which they will use to convert wind energy into mechanical energy.

Food Science students are comparing difference methods of washing hands, work space and utensils, and determining which method is best.

Plant Science students conducted an experiment to explore the relationship between organic matter and water holding capacity of soil.

7th grader Collin Kinsella received a Fanta with a stick taped to the side of it today for doing FANTASTIC on his Nation's of the World assessment! 30 correctly located nation's!!! Way to go Collin!
