
HS Girls Basketball will kick off their season next Thursday, November 21st in Maryville, MO. The Jamboree schedule is listed below. Good luck, girls!🏀


The South Holt JH Basketball tournament is November 18-23. Below is the bracket. Our JH Girls will play on Tuesday, 11/19 and Wednesday, 11/20 both at 4:30 and our JH Boys will play both nights immediately following the girls. Go Thunder!🏀

The gymnasium was busy this morning with our A+ mentors. We had basketball games at both ends, some soft toss/batting, and a couple playing tag. Other students enjoyed breakfast together and played board games.


Anatomy students rotated to different stations as they learned more about the skeletal system.





Chet and Keegan completed some of their reading goals! Way to go! Keep up the great work!

Tonight our JH Basketball teams will play at Jefferson beginning at 5:30PM. The order of events are as follows: JH girls (new gym) and 4Quarters of JH "B" boys (old gym), followed by JH boys (new gym) and 4 Quarters of JH "B" girls (old gym). Go Thunder! 🏀

A+ morning mentoring program kicked off today. Some students ate breakfast together while others colored or played board games. This group of students played a little ball in the gym.

Congratulations to Mrs. Newton and Ms. Broermann for being our November "Teacher to Teacher" award recipients. Thank you for all the effort and time put into teaching students at West Nodaway.


Reminder, this Tuesday starts the A+ morning mentor program. Fifteen high schoolers have signed up and been partnered with various elementary students. There is still room for more A+ participants. Contact Mrs. Clayton if interested.


For Election Day, Kindergarten read the book "Duck for President" by Doreen Cronin and voted for the next farm president! Students counted votes and determined that the Duck would become president!






Another successful week in second grade! These kids have worked hard to earn these awards!





Per MSHSAA postseason football guidelines, admission for tonight's game for all spectators ages 6 and over is $6.00. Ages 5 and under are free. No passes will be accepted. Go Thunder!🏈
